Got off the phone with the dealer. Tranny needs a total rebuild. All synchros are shot, and maybe more. They are saying it's going to be $3500 for a rebuild or $4300 for a new one.

Always sticky when it's cold. After it warms up a bit it goes in much easier, still not as easy as a 3rd, 4th or 5th shift though but much better than cold.

Luckily here in Austin the roads are not quite as bad. We just have to look out for major road debris...
