Fuel Rail Cover Insulation

I had my fuel rail covers sent out to be painted and when I got them back the painter did not put the insulation back on . Can they be installed without the insulation or will the heat of the engine...

Well after looking closer (with my glasses on this time) turns out all it was was the rubber gasket from the cap. Thanks for everyone's help. You gotta love when its a simple fix !!!
