Fan confusion

What is the proper dimension and appearance for a 1966 BB radiator fan? I thought it should be a 17.5" diameter fan. Are there any particular markings that should be in the fan itself or the rivets?...

The bolt holes are close to the edge, much less than an inch, and there is a single bolt hole pattern. So this must be for an 11" clutch.

Does anyone have info on the application of the following flywheel, which is 14" and 168 tooth:

#3988795, also has the word "NODULAR" cast into it on the block side, casting date L08.
