My A4 transmission is slipping & in need of a rebuild. Can anyone suggest a good shop in SoCal for trans work & give a ballpark idea on cost for a rebuild?

I was getting 27mpg hwy with an A4 & 2.73 rear with some stop & go LA traffic mixed in. Recently went to a 3.42 rear and now it's about 24 mpg back & forth to work.

I'm inclined to say they know what they're doing. The shop is Corvette Specialties of California, and vettes is all they work on. That said, I was not there to oversee the programing & verify it...
