Smog

How are you going to smog the engine with a new tranny(not c.a.r.b approved) and no smog equipment on the engine? I dont mean to rain on your parade but theres no way your be able to register it...

yup just got an email from tom dewitt, he no longer sells radiator cores, but showed that that gm still does sell them and gave me the part number, so now off to the chevy dealer to order one! Thanks...

I just found out that my radiator core (support?) has huge rust holes in it. On the lower right hand side i applied a small amount of pressure, and i went right through it :willy: . The car is off...

If i were you i would plan on getting new ones, as most of the time the eurethane ones are so far gone from the sun and time that they fall apart as you take them off.

We had them do alot of work on my 76 after it was rearended (requiring several grand of work). They were extremely fast once insurance said to fix the car, and definately know what they are talking...

a 76 hardtop? :bs maybe a 75, but the last convertible were in 75. but by the way for the car, figure on spending alot of $$ to get it ready, as it will need paint (3-10k depending) weatherstripping...

My 76 has somewhere around 180, 000 miles on it, and i have been enjoying it as much as i can. Thankfully with a corvette, anything can be fixed the real question is the $$$
