I've got 89 wheels (with the offset adapter)
They're supposed to be 275 40 17 all around on these rims, but when I bought the car it had 315 35 17 all around.

what's it like switching to narrower tires?

I have 315s on my car. I was wondering if the rut-steer might lessen a little bit if I get factory standard size 275s put back on.

Or maybe I just need an alignment....

Oh and I have to vent....

I am hoping that's a sign that I didn't have a failed injector. Rather, perhaps the whole issue started with fuel...

finally saw one on the road. I was prepared for the ugliness but I wasn't prepared to be so underwhelmed. Very little 'presence'.

What a letdown. The skyline should've been a beautiful car.

thanks for the replys guys. that 'shock' theory is an interesting one, and it's cheaper so I guess I'll subscribe to it.

The car is an 05 anyways, so it's not that bad. 30,000-ish on it.

put it on the jumper cables, i think i remember someone saying once that there's a solenoid involved in the ignition system but i've run the battery down before and never had the ticking sound.

On my 86. It's the MAF sensor and MAF sensor burn-off function faults.

This has happened before. I replaced both the burn-off relay and the other one right next to it, don't remember the name of...

smoothline makes custom hardtops that fit the early c4s. They offer a vinyl covering.

in that case it might not be possible to make it fit a later c4...
