I weighed everything up on a digital postal scale after I did this on my '95. It was a 24.5 lb net loss.

Like dizwiz, I usually have the top down, so I don't miss the A/C...but *we're* in NE...

Mileage won't be affected as long as your driving habits don't change.

Didn't notice a difference in idle quality when I did mine...maybe a *little* more noise from the rockers I used.

We had a tuner on here (Alvin from PCM4Less) who claimed 3-5hp as typical in back-to-back testing in multiple stockish LT1s. Dunno about L98's, etc.

Another benefit is less heat production due to friction --> engine runs cooler.

I use Champion copper tips.

Copper does wear more quickly, so if you're not up for the additional maintenance, something like the NGK's are a better long-term option.
