If you have an 82 you can put in a Hypertech chip...

If you have an 82 you can put in a Hypertech chip and that is what it does to gain some of it's increased performance claims. I have one in mine and have been happy with the shift pattern.

My sisters boyfriend had a Bill Mitchell 327 in his Camaro and this was one bad motor. He got more than he paid for with this motor. Cost was 7or7500 complete.

I also use Grundy and have had no problems. 40,000 miles here with all documentation from birth including the original sales order invoice, title etc. I am the 2nd owner.

The standard GM 1.5 rockers are not really 1.5 they are 1.4? so you may be happier with the comp cams 1.52 without all the extra work. Ganey, can you tell him the exact specs of the stock 1.5 GM...

Larry--you are most likely referring to a solid lifter motor. Solid lifter cams are set up to deliver higher RPM's without lifter float. We always ran them in the cars we raced and if you could not...

1979toy--you are right it is listed under the Holly website. The numbers I got from it for the chermic headers were #2224-1 with the rest of your numbers being correct. How quiet are the reverse...

Door lock switches are located where yours presently are. I do not believe they were ever located anywhere else on the 79-82. Hope this helps.
