Replaced the bypass hose last weekend. Aluminum drain petcock was frozen shut but luckily the nearby Autozone had a brass one in stock. So other than that it was a quick and easy fix.

Since I am pulling the cluster this week to fix my other problem with the speedo. The plan now is to just clean the ammeter gauge at the same time. Thx for everyone's suggestions.
