Default GMPP LS9 Supercharger Kit

Anyone applied an LS9 Supercharger Kit from GMPP to their LS3?? Pics and/or testimonials would be appreciated.

I am guessing something like a procharger would be better, and cheaper?

I honestly have no idea, looking for thoughts on the matter.

Hmm never thought about this. At $7500 though, I bet aftermarket would be better although not positive on their price points.

If you like that kind of supercharger go with the Edelbrock E-Force.

Have you seen THIS thread?

edit... I read somewhere the GMPP blower doesn't fit under the stock hood like an E-Force!?!? If that's the case, it would be a deal-breaker for me.

On a stock LS3 I wonder what the power levels would be right out of the box.

I don't know about the LS3, but on top of a 7.0L it made 710hp/780tq w/12lbs boost: http://www.vetteweb.com/tech/vemp_11..._crate_engine/

In Truckin' magazine an article about Thomson Automotive doing an LS7+LS9 supercharger made 769hp/844tq w/13lbs boost

The LS9 has much better internals than an LS3 to handle that kind of power.

Unless you upgrade the internals, it's a bad idea.
