C4 stereo sub set-up. Lets see 'em
My friend has a very nice purple 94, blk interior, 6sp, with chrome sawblades. He wants to have a winter project of setting up an amp-sub combo set-up.
Can you guys show him how its done??!!
Appreciate any replies....

Melting Slicks
That is all the pics I have. It was pretty easy, just took some time to do.
Remove seats and carpet along with compartment cover. The drilled 2 holes for the subs (10 inch) along with a 1" air port to the right of the speaker. Made wood pieces to divide the compartment in hal so half would be sub box and half still compartment. Glassed in wood and lined box with foam padding from fabric store. Used the factory carpet for the sorage bins by removing the stitching and cutting to fit then sewed back up and gled in the now smaller hole. Then found a amp that would fit in the remaning space and mounted it along with running all wires. reinstalled carpet and installed speakers plus a 1" pipe in the air ports.
Doing this I was able to use the factory rear area for some good 6x9's along with 5" door speakers. Put the seats back in and the compartment doors back on and it was all hidden.
I did not use top end equipment and had around 500 in the whole system after buying parts from a vendor that I bought from for the shop. It has really good sound and the bass is not overwelming. I was not going for the BOOM BOOM as much as a decent sound. I have to say considering what I have in it I was very impressed with the sound quality. With the subs located behind the seat I have the amp turned almost all the way down and still get very good bass out of the subs.

JLAudio's 8" woofers at the factory rear speaker locations, just like AGENT 86. Here are some pictures (the text is in Finnish, as usual):

hey SCCA VETTE, does the sub surround contact the back of the seat if you have the seat all the way back? I am a tall guy and have to have the seat back the whole way. That is one nice setup btw!!!!

That was the first one, it was "ok" for daily beating. Its an Onyx 10" sub, and thats actually a MDF enclosure under that that fits into the well perfectly.
Second one is an Atomic APXX 15" in a SPL burp box for competition. It did 150.1 on the meter at MECA World Finals back in 2005.
