FS: EXTREMELY CUSTOM C4 stereo setup - probably one of the best C4 setups around!!!!!
SOLD
I posted kind of a feeler in Audio a few months back about this and wasn't positive if I wanted to get rid of this or not but I need to have some extra cash to put in the solid rear I've been wanting so this thing is gonna go to some lucky person.
Personally, I "hope" it goes to someone who likes to take their car to shows a lot. I don't do that, I like to drag race, so someone else will be better served by this than me. This setup is an absolute SHOWSTOPPER - when I pop the hatch its like moths to a flame wherever I'm at.
OK, on to the goods:
The gentleman who owned the car prior to me built the enclosure - it is 100% custom built and fits the C4 like a glove - you will not find this enclosure on any other car in the country. It's fiberglass which was then painted to match the car so obviously you would need to get it painted to match your car.
Here is a list of the componentry that would be included in the sale:
- 1 Kicker Solobaric L7 15" sub
- 2 Kicker Solobaric L7 8" subs
- 1 Kicker ZR1000 amp (1000 watt amp which drives the 15" sub)
- 2 Kicker ZR600 amps (1 600 watt amp to drive entire left side of car and another to drive the entire right side of car)
- 1 Pioneer DEH-P940MP head unit
- Assorted cables, crossovers, fuses, etc. and all the "stuff" required to make this bad boy work
Tweeters are NOT included as I want to retain those - however I do have some Kicker mid's (not pictured) that will be included.
Note the rocker switches - one controls a fan and another turns on the neon on the amps, however the neon was damaged when I was removing the system from the car so if you want that you would have to buy new neon (and it looks good so you probably would).
This would be an amazing, turn-key system for someone who wants to turn heads (and ears). The system sounds AMAZING.
On to the price. I am well aware that you never, ever, recover the same $$ it would take to put this all together new, especially since it is SO custom. So I have to find a buyer that likes this specific customization obviously.
Again I will mention I am not trying to sell this for what it would cost you to build this new, believe me it would cost a fortune, so if you are wanting one of the baddest C4 stereos around let's talk.
I would prefer not to ship this thing as it would not be cost effective nor safe for the fiberglass enclosure.
Please post here or PM if interested.
Thanks!!

Very nice system!!!
I have seen this in person and it is a very nice setup. Anyone that loves stereo equipment and corvettes would absolutely love this in their car. It is a show stopper for sure!

Wow, that almost makes my ears bleed just looking at it! You sure it's a stereo and not a Back-to-the-Future time travel device that makes your vette a time machine??

WOW, wish I had some xtra cash. The custom enclosure? is f'n awesome. One of the coolest I have seen posted so far. The fabricator should be selling the blanks.
Good luck with the sale. Hope I win a lottery
