Hate do do it but time to sell my 70
A lot of you guys have seen pics and are familiar with my Vette.
1970 T-Top. 106K miles, Many new parts. Asking 18,000.
I’ve owned this Vette for three and a half years. I hate to part with it, but priorities have changed. I’ve put a lot of work into it and have loved every minute under the hood, behind the wheel, going to cruises & shows, even have a few trophies. Paint looks good, but there was some nose damage in it’s past and the body work was just so-so. I had planned to redo this and repaint it after my kids were done with college.
Thanks for looking, Glenn

Glenn, sorry to hear you are selling your Vette. I've seen your car many times on the Forum. Looks like a very nice coupe. Very detailed, thorough ad. Hope you get back into a Vette in the future. Good luck with your sale

We'll have to see what the market is like in 6 years, but I'm sure you're right. By then, my wife will be ready for another Vette in the family. I know I'll regret selling it, but got to do it.

Hi Glenn,
I think the fact that it's not the original engine cuts off SOME prospective buyers and that you mention it could use a bit of body work and paint cuts off SOME more.
So I'd say it's a combination of the size of the market for it and price.
Still....GOOD LUCK!

Alan

Hate that you have to sell her, Glenn. Good luck with the sale. That's one beautiful C3!

Next week I'll start going to local cruises and maybe people seeing it in person will generate more interest.

Glenn, sorry to see your selling your car, especially in a buyers market. It's a beautiful car at a good price but there are more cars for sale than buyers so your going to have to persue several avenues to get it sold. I think you would get a good viewing at the Rose Hill shopping center in Thornwood on Saturday nights and of course Bear Mountain.
