Thinkin' about selling my '81......(MERGED)???
Not wanting to sell the '81 with the new crate motor, but I'm leaning towards it. I just can't get motivated to work on the '74 with the '81 in the garage.

1981 Coup, Ttops, No computer, No cats, True dual exhaust, Hooker Headers, New 357ci Marshall/Blueprint crate engine, 391hp at the fly, and 412 ft/# of torque, Comp cam XE268H, GM vortec heads, EB 750cfm carb, dual plane intake, MSD distrib.

The Good:
New Crate Motor with less than 2000 miles on it.
Right rear wheel bearing replaced.
Left rear 1/2 shaft replaced.
New Dewitts Radiator
Lights pop up and work smooth
Tires are okay. (Well actually about done.......looked at them close today).
Paint is a 5 footer.
Frame is great.
Body is great.
Ttops look good and not that old.
Electric windows work.
All gauges work except clock.
Speedo reads 57,000 but it has rolled over.
3rd Owner. Previous owner had it 20+ years.
Southern car has only been in TX, LA. and MS.
New Motor mounts.
New exhaust w/ No cats.
Interior is in average shape with no bad problem areas. Minor cracking in some trim.
Seats are in great shape.
New Alternator.
New Master Cylinder. (Brakes are still a little soft).
New MSD distributor.
New 750 Cfm Eldebrock carb. (Not happy with it, should be replaced with a Holley).
New Hooker headers.
New Water Pump.
New Fuel Pump.
New Harmonic Balancer.
The Bad:
Carpet is faded badly, but in one piece and in pretty good condition.
A/C was working before motor change. Haven't figured that out yet.
Windshied wipers also quit working after motor change??
Cruise control has been removed.
Slight leak from the power stearing. Not the box.
Electric Door locks not working. Power windows do work!!
Spare tire is dry rotted but I have rim and carrier.

Gonna get to that, along with new pics........
Basically, carpet is faded and ugly, but okay. Needs replacing. Seats are great. Paint is a 5 footer. She screams............
Comes with original motor parts (block, intake, heads, parts, exhaust manifolds).

Beautiful Day, Got the '81 out & the camera!
Went to a car show this morning, then pulled the '81 down by the lake for some updated shots (for the for sale thread)........Haven't had her this clean, or running this good in a while!!

Looks great Brian. Doesn't hurt to have a nice background in the "for sale" post either.
I did the same thing
It's a CA car so only makes sense to have a winery in the background.
At least yours is running well now that it's on the block. Mine has broken so many parts since I first posted it, I'm considering having it exercised.
