607 RWHP in the Rain!
It never rains in Southern California! Yeah, right! I know this isn't the FI section, but I wanted to share my experience with my newly A&A supercharged Z. I can't tell you how stock like and docile the car is below 3K rpm. I thought it might be a handful, specially in the rain today, but it behaved like Clark Kent all the way home. It will expose the big red "S" and spin them in 4th (!) in the wet though
Power delivery is soo silky smooth and linear - there is no jerkyness, no "surge". From idle to about 3,500 rpm at part throttle, you'd never guess the car had anything under the hood aside from what Chevy put in there. Dig into the gas pedal and all hell breaks lose. I have never ever liked a car so much. Aside from a bit of blower whine (which I love) and a bit of extra exhaust noise from the ARH LT's - it is just like stock.
Thanks again to Andy, Charlie and the A&A guys for improving a car I thought was perfect.
TOTAL SLEEPER -hehe..

Well, as far as a stock Z06 would qualify as a sleeper
Guys, as far as cost - give Andy a call - since I'm one of the first installs, I think final pricing wasn't decided - He's done so much stuff for me in the past, I just keep writing him checks until he tells me to stop . His site currently has the complete system for under $6K https://www.aandacorvette.com/cart/s...p?MainCatID=39

Did they do anything to lower compression? If not how many lbs of boost are you running? I guess i'm just asking how safe?

5.8 lbs. - the extra fuel system makes it safer - also, Charlie worked in more fuel right at torque peak to keep the engine happy- that was the number 1 priority for me when I decided to do it.

Oh one more question, is this set-up Cali emission compliant?

Jesus!! You got 200+ rwhp at only 5.8lbs of boost?!? Wow! thats very impressive. I was going to do a H/C package on mine but I already have a Big Lopey stroker in my SS, so FI sounds great to me right now!! So all you have is Headers, Fuel System and the F.I.?

The first mod was a tune and the LT's - we got 484 / 430 (if I remember correctly), then we got 577 with just the SC and finally 607 with the fuel system. I have a H/C 2003 Z and FI keeps the car sounding and idling just like stock, no shake at all. And, yes, it is CARB approved, the LT's are not, though...
And maybe I missed it, but what Super Charger is that? Looks like a Vortec.

Sounds AWESOME Pio, congratulations! I'm glad it worked out. I was a little leery of F/I on our cars, but it sounds like a lot of fun. Certainly makes a lot more sense than springing the difference for an SS.
How long was your car in the shop for this work? It seems like it has been a couple of months since you first posted.
