Default PICS!!! A&A Z06 Blower

Finally picked her up today, wanted to share pics of the install - the thing is an ABSOLUTE BEAST!!! Under 3,500 rpm - it is just like STOCK! But once it get's past that, it pulls like a rocket. The idle is AMAZING!! I can't say enough of how happy I am with the results!!

Thanks again to the Andy, Charlie and the A&A boys for making me the happiest guy in LA!

Any videos on the way? I'd like to hear what it sounds like from inside the cabin and outside when idling. Also running it hard.

Very cool setup. Is that the SQ trim?

Cool setup, have fun with it!

I doubt that it is an SQ blower, although I couldn't blow up the picture big enough to read the tab. My guess is that it is a T-trim with a big pulley to slow it down a bit.

I will try to get an audio clip and post it up - personally, I don't like loud exhausts so it is very very quite - it is almost like stock with LT's and a slight whine. I'm planning on going to LACR next week, will have video then

I will take a closer pic of the blower only later, for no here is a higher rez shot

Scott- I finally remembered to peak at the SC - it is a Vortech V-1. I hope this helps.

BTW- It was pouring rain on my way home today and the car is so much like stock below 3.5k rpm it was perfect! Civilized under 3.5K rpm a MADMAN above!!!

System was added on by A&A to get an extra 30 rwhp - car made 577 rwhp without it 607 with it.

that intercooler needs to be centered, not a fan

and what's with the air/fuel? that thing pigs out mid run...

it is nice to see someone offering a kit though!!

The intercooler sits to the left because the airfilter sits on the right. It's designed that way to make everything fit.

It runs very rich at peak torque because the engine is stock and the pistons on the LS7 aren't forged so I wanted to make sure it was as safe as possible. It could be tuned leaner but why risk it for an extra couple of horses? Plus, I'm seriously considering meth which would allow a 3 dg bump in timimg and an estimated 650 / 580

BTW- I want to powder coat the intercooler black so its barely visible from the outside, the more stock it looks, the better IMO.
