How Do You Identify A Real 69BB VETTE

I want to buy a nice 69 Corvette Coupe which presently has a late model BB eng. Can I identify if this car was born a real BB car? No paper work. Fuel tank changed 10 years ago. HELP!!:willy:

I agree. The rear end is spotless and there is nothing stamped on that area of the rearend???? Just the number on the forward mount 41010??? It's either an 84, 85, 86 so Iv'e been told. :ack:

By the way you can disconnect the low freon sensor on the a/c and the fan comes on and you can drive short distances until you get it...

depending on what your trying to accomplish, your adapters should be "hub-centric" It puts the load on the hubs and not the studs. Much safer!. Easy to put on!! :cheers:
