Found a roller 12 years ago and put a 454, 5 speed in it. Recently swapped in an elephant 400. I have a 3.70 rear. Yup, it steals hp and revs higher as I knew it would. I dont do a ton of freeway...

Yes the bar was completely removed. The bumps went away and no paint work would have been needed although the car was getting restored with future paint anyway.
Hard to believe but the clamped wood...

It was pretty much a saftey issue for my old eyes. Tried new stock bulbs first, but not that not much difference. Did the center gauges too. They dim no problem.
