The battery light came on in my 89 vette. Does it mean the battery is bad or the alternator is not charging? If its the alternator what wires do you use to check the output. Thanks in advance.

I use a liquid car soap and water solution. It's cheaper and works great. I'm a Zaino detailer, so I use 1 cap of Z7 car wash with 16 oz. of water.

It's probably your bushings and not the gears. The bushings are a common problem with C4 headlights. I had to change mine on my 89. If it is your gears, you can replace the nylon ones with bronze...

I have a 1989 coupe. The rear brake light (outside passenger side) is loose. The GM service manual says - to get to it you have to remove the rear facia!!!! The whole thing. That's a lot of screws....
