A 2 1/2" mandrel bent system with free flow mufflers will feed your 383 just fine. Until you're over 550 hp the price and hassle isn't worth the difference it'll make.

With 3.70's it's around 1600-1700 rpm at 55. I usually do 75 and it sits nicely at 2200. That's with 255-60's.

That is the "performance" under drive set. If your idle is set to 800 or higher at minimum, they work well. Anything lower than that creates a charging problem at idle.

The "Cobra" or GT40 wheels look nothing like these ones. Look up most pictures of the Baldwin Motion Vettes, that's the look I'm after, but more modern in a 17".
