Rams Horn Improvement?
I was going to order up some 2.5" RHs to replace my 2" smoggers.
I noticed these while browsing.

These are obviously a little different.
Can anyone take a guess on how they will fit on my 74?
If they are not an improvement, I will go w/2.5 stk
and do a little grinding before I put them on.
TIA

I would go with the 2.5" factory manifolds, so that it will still 'look' stock. But, if the 'stock look' isn't that important to you, that looks like nice set.

Port Size?
Does anyone know the size of 2.5" RHs?
How do they compare w/specs of the 1.375" True Rams?
I want to at least open up the RHs to match my TFS heads.
Then I'm off to the dyno. LOL

If you're set on the stock look of manifolds, look into some of the circle track stock car engine builders. Quite a few make good power through either manual or acid ported ones. Still not as much flow as headers, but the best you'll get with manifolds for sure.

Best Bang for the Buck!
I think that going from the 2" RHs to the stk 2.5" RHs will be my best bang for the buck.
Since they will be a straight swap w/old RH, no fabrication will be needed.
I have heard stories about how hard the RH gets after years of heat/cooling cycles. I would like to open these up a bit, perhaps with
a sharp stone ofsome kind. No carbide cutters available.
Now the only question is: How much HP/TQ will I gain?
Any thoughts?
