that's what i mean, both tie rods are off by the same amount, the numbers show up fine on the machine as long as the steering wheel is turned, but it ain't right.

The GTS/GT1/GT2/GT race cars have had sidepipes since the C5-R days. I wouldn't expect sidepipes just because a race car has them. It's just easier to route the exhaust to the back.

probably so, but there is always a tradeoff between aero and cooling and also between a low CoD and downforce. The street cars have a much lower CoD than the race cars.
