Re: Anyone heard of a stereo CD called a "PYLE" ?? (SLICKMAN)

Pyle is "entry level" equipment. It is not very clean or powerful! Don't waste your money.

Re: reinforcing sub box for C5 (Michaeljh3)

It is medium density fiberboard, the same material that they use to build counter tops with. They also make HDF which is the big brother to MDF. I will have to dig through my albums to find you the...

Re: reinforcing sub box for C5 (Michaeljh3)

I have used 3/4 MDF support beams between the 2 walls of the woofer mounting area (the weakest point) and the opposite wall. If you build a 3/4 MDF woofer cabinet with screws and glue coupled with...

Re: Working with Vinyl ???? (Kale)

I would suggest purchasing some vinyl with-out backing that stretches very well and you can use a heat gun to get out the wrinkles. One of the places that I had seen that vinyl was at...

Re: Where's the best place to pick up a high-output alternator? (webdzynes)

You can go to a reputable generator shop and have the original bumped up with a larger stator. I had my 120amp bumped to 160amp for $140.00 and it has been charging strong for the last 4.5 years with...

Re: Working with Vinyl ???? (MY2K2C5)

I have been working with vinyl for years and it takes some practice to get it to stretch with-out wrinkles. I am a little different on the glue, I use Weldwood contact cement to glue vinyl down and...

Re: 12" Sub set up on a C4 (eddieL98)

You can build woofer cabinets smaller but you will lose some bottom end grunt but it will play nice and tight with the smaller air-space. If you need help with a cabinet design, I can help you build...

Re: 12" Sub set up on a C4 (BlackandMild1)

I dont have any pics but I have built 12" 15" & 18" single subs in the C3 and C4. Any sub will work as long as you build the woofer cabinet correctly for the sub or subs in question. (i.e. ports,...

Re: Newbie here - How do you fix "alternator whine" (lioninavette)

Thanks, I would be glad to help! The next time you have something installed, ask the shop for an experienced MECP certified installer. That will help weed out the "hackers" that have no business...

Re: CAN IT BE DONE OR NOT? (Conquer)

I have already repaired 5 vehicles this year due to their mistakes (Circuit City), not including the repairs that I do for the other shops that screw up installs. I hate to hear that but they will...

Re: HOw much do you have invested in system? (1Bad2000C5)

Re: whats a good inexpensive amp? (JD 90 383)

If you want bang for your buck! Earthquake amps are clean, powerful, and not so expensive. We were a dealer for them and are comparable to the RFs for less  .
