02 sensors?

I have Hooker side pipe headers and use two wide band sensors, one each side on the top of the collectors. No FI, just used for testing fuel ratio.

My 79 L82, puts 471 RWHP. Cost me lots of green. Go for a BB and cam. You may get close to 400 RWHP and wont brake the car or your wallet. And the sound and tq will make you a lover of BBs.

Doghouse

That doghouse is the Dist. cover. The chrome thing that helps remove RF static. The part you have to remove to work on the Dist.
It could also, on later models, be plastic with a foil coating...
