The transmission, in paddle shift mode, will only downshift by itself, upshift is on you. In "S" mode it will do both but will shift by factory or tuned programming.

I believe they changed the dry sump capacity on either 08 or 09 models maybe even 2010, they went from 8.5 qts to 10.5 qts.

Wonder if anybody bothered to retune after install, can't see if it's an LS7 MAF sensor, intake manifold doesn't look like the one I had on my LS2 and just to nit pick it's missing a bolt on #1 coil...

I'm thinking that the selector lever on the side...

I'm thinking that the selector lever on the side of the transmission is opposite to the direction of the floor shifter. Shifter fully forward would be lever all the way back.
