The title kind of says it all. I put these headers on after my plugs, and am thinking it will be tight enough just to get the plugs out, I'm thinking shorter plugs will make my life quite a bit...

The rotor and wires are new (as in replaces within the last 3-4 years) and the plugs only have about 1,500-2,000 miles on them. I've never replaced the cap however.

From what I remember the fuzzy side was down on my 74, but I took it off and never looked back. It just reduces engine noise and isn't really for heat protection.
