Thanks, I thought cranking it without a load could be risky. Since it is the amplifier that you need to protect , uplugging it makes sense.

I have used 235/60 15 BFG Radial TAs for years on stock 15x6 KO wheels. The BFG specs lists 6" width wheels within the recommended range.

On my particular car they work fine.

I am not sure how this would ever be...
