Can you put a "T" fitting in the fuel line and check the fuel pump pressure?

That may help you determine if the pump is the problem or not

Can't tell you for sure but I can say my 66 vert body emptied out was fairly easy to pick up by two of us.
No Doors, or deck lid. One of us on each side picking it up below the door opening area....
