I have a Y2K C5 with 30,000 miles. Have used Zaino since owning the car. I would like to strip the zaino and buff out the car with my Porter Cable to remove abrasions, swirls, minor scratches. ...

JIm,

I'm open as to time. But 6:00am seems a little early as it only takes a couple hours to get there.

I agree its nice to get there a little early to wander around.

If I apply z5 with ZFX, how long can I wait to wipe off? 1 day? a week?

I know I can wipe off after about 30 minutes, but can I wait a week?

I've got a Y2K C5. When I jump on it at about 40 MPH, the engine hesitates and races about 1sec before going into passing gear. Is this normal? Is it worth taking into dealer for?

Thanks. Yes I did Dawn before I started the clay bar & Griot's and also Dawned afterwards incase there was contaminants in the Griot's. Also used the Zaino car wash after the second Dawn.

Just got ZFX and converted C5 from Meguiars to Zaino.

Have used Medallion in the past with Griot's #3 Machine Polish as a prep; used Duragloss detailer after each drive. So the car looked good...

Seems like I read on the forum that if 3 coats of Z5 does not remove the scratch, etc., then additional coats will not either. Is this so. Does it do anygood to apply more than 3 coats of Z5?

I think it is the largest auto show in the Southeast. Consumes the entire Charlotte Motor Speedway. 7000 vendors. All types of cars. Impossible to see in one day. Show, sales, auction, etc. ...
