Love my ZR and have GM extended warranty through 2016, so when the first Z model comes out with an A8, if I like it........

Sell my C5 summer of 2014, then order and take delivery of a 2015 around September.

Tannman 02-25-2013 11:36 AM

I'm hoping and planning on an October delivery at the Museum.

Corgidog1 02-25-2013 11:43 AM

Probably spring of 2015 when I am able to work and collect social security. I will use the social security check to make payments on the C7.

I'm aiming for the third year unless rumors tell me about a mid-year change around the corner. So 2016-2017. I could order one this year if I sold my C5, but I'm never selling that car, so I'll have to save up to add the C7 to my stable.

As soon as my number comes up (and there are no restraints on options I want). I already have my deposit in to hold my place in line (with a forum dealer). I am paying UNDER MSRP.

Is the forum dealer in the Dallas area?

C7Z 02-26-2013 12:11 AM

I'm waiting the perfomance version (zo6/zr1)

1analguy 02-26-2013 02:59 AM

I'm waiting for them to finish painting the whole car, and for the deep discounts to begin. It doesn't matter how long it takes...

Dealers are going to have overstock of used C6's when people wanting a new C7 can't afford both. By overstock I mean, a few more than the average one or two C6/C5 per dealer.

Walt White Coupe 02-26-2013 07:55 AM

Love my current paid for white 2009 C6. I'll wait for the third model year. No first year for me. Been there, done that in 2005. Add a second year for cushion. Rationality over emotion.

Pending no drastic changes in tax law and personal finance situation, targeting early 2016 for a C7 purchase.

#1 Requirement: CASH !!! (no financing).

That should always depend on what the financing terms are at the time. Zero percent financing is a no brainer.

In my case when it has the same or more power than my ZR1.

Larry/car 02-26-2013 05:10 PM

I should of traded my 2006 for a 2010 but wasn't impressed enough to spend the money with the C7 just around the corner. That was before reality set in, the length of time till dealers deal and C7 inventory builds, my C6 will be ten years old.

When laws of supply and demand are in my favor and they are being sold at invoice price by forum dealers. Not before and not until.
