Out with the old and in with the new. I'm not 100% sold on 100% of the design, but it's certainly a Corvette and light years closer to my ideal car than ANYTHING else that's been made to date, including several improvements over the C6.

I simply don't believe the > 50% women comment. Better pull some serious sources if you want that claim to stick.

35.. C7 is great, I can't wait to see it I'm person.. Have a c6 that doesn't get used but I have to get a C7 when it comes out

Stockcar Axeman 01-31-2013 01:04 AM

45 and I'm keeping my C6. The C7 looks good but the back end and some stuff on the interior is holding me back. That's ok as I have other auto projects that eat $ so it's all good. As for the >50% women comment I don't even know where start. Just looking at where I bought my Vette it looks about 85-90% are sold to men.

DrunkPenguin 01-31-2013 01:16 AM

Gawd yes and thanks for making me feel young at 48.:D. Been tripping on it lately (48). Years do fly.

But yes. Since C5 I was away from this forum the entire run of C6. C7 has brought me back and seriously I have never been this turned on to a car under $100k in my life. I just love it inside and out.

This even before real world tests are done but come on? I don't think they will drop the ball here. I bet it will be best ever.

I must have this car. I have not said that about any car in years. I thought M3 would be my next but isnt going to happen.

This from pictures and videos. That says something...

43. I will be replacing my c6, which I love, with a C7. My biggest decision is whether I get a convertible or a coupe.

Good question! As you might expect the average age of the current Corvette buyer is 50+. The objective of the C7 was two fold. Improve the design and appeal to a younger audience. GM's target is 35+ with more appeal to foreign buyers.

I stand corrected! Big Time. According to GM about 18% of all Corvettes made since 1953 have been sold to women. Egg on my face! Thanks, Tony

I'm 42 and want one

ConfusedGarage 01-31-2013 01:24 PM

Seems like most guys 35 and older really don't mind the rear end at all. Very interesting. I guess in 4 yrs maybe I'll get over it and buy one! I absolutely love the car, but am absolutely appalled with the derrier. Definitely going to have to be black to hide all that mess, otherwise a great car only to be improved upon with the next Z.

DaveFerrari458 01-31-2013 01:34 PM

I am 39 and love all Corvettes in general. I fell in love as a kid with the C4.

I have owned a C6 Z06 and I still think the C6 Z06/ZR1 are one of the sexiest cars out there.

I have also owned many European cars along with an exotic thrown in there.

While I always give all Corvettes a lot of praise, I always felt that the car was being held back in terms of interior quality and overall image & marketing. It looks like GM hit if not a grand slam at least a three run homer. From what I see and hear about the improvements, I love it!!

Great job GM....now go work on the cars image!!! Cause I can guarantee you at least 3-4 sales from people I know if the car had a little better image and these people can afford almost anything else out there.

Ok well in that case yours wins. Racer just borrowed an internet pic. Does your wife know she's on the internet? Mine would murder me if I put her pic up like that, even though she'd look plenty hot.

dmporter31 01-31-2013 01:42 PM

currently 48, going to test drive at least, probably buy one.

Love the C6 and was wondering if they could really make much of an improvement. The C7 has blown me away. The C7 is a must have!

MikeMaj82 02-06-2013 10:50 PM

now I realize why there are so many positive comments about the C7 on here...nobody's old enough! lol

jesters94 02-07-2013 12:30 AM

37 here and I need to see it in person....all the pics in the world are fine but I need to sit in it to see if it feels right for me....I'll probably wait for the vert to come out anyway!

Oh and my C4 will not be leaving my garage any time soon!

ryoder 02-07-2013 08:26 PM

37. I like the clean lines and low weight of the C6 1LT I drive. I'll be looking for a light weight model with more body colored paint. I am very interested in the new motor and seats.
