I'm curious to know if the C7 appeals to Sports car buyers in the 35-50year old bracket any more or less that the previous models. Please only 35-50 year olds respond. Thanks, Tony
As of 1/31/2013 at 8pm EST there are about 37 members who responded "love, like or must have" The remaining 36 are "wait and see", "waiting for a Vert or C7Z", "not sure" and "not for me" There were only 5 who responded "not for me" Now we need to ask the Chinese what they think

Reason: update
I see few women driving a vette unless its there husbands.
Yeah there are some. I don't care for the looks but if
wanted a newer vette would buy the car just because its a
new model with the newest look. What have done in the past.
But like said before in the last 2 years probably haven't put 500
miles on the C6 vert. I really just don't care to drive it anymore
so bored with it. A friend asked if was getting the new one,
said no don't drive the one have. BUT as sure as I say never
a new one would be in the garage, going nowhere like this one.
My answer is, would buy if wanted one, sure why not
Still say the radio looks like a Etch A Sketch,
rear like KISS mascara and the silly gimmick air ducts could
have been left off. Made a much cleaner looking car.
Compared to C6, well the C6 had the cheapest looking interior
of recent times & poor quality. So appeal of the two, toss up.

35, The perfect car would be a C5 Zo6 with a C7 interior.
I'm buying a bigger boat instead of replacing my C5 Zo6 since the kids and wife will enjoy that more than a car that sits in the garage that never gets used. I like the C6 Zo6 exterior styling better than the C7.
36. So far, the C7 appeals to me less than my C6 Z06. If the performance model doesn't grab me, I'll keep this one and make my next vette a C2
I agree. I'll reserve judgment until I see the final version in person, but that C6 ZO6 is one bad looking machine. So far I like everything about the C7 except the butt which looks overly busy to me.
To be clear, I'm not in the market for either. Until my 3 young kids are out of the house, I won't seriously consider buying another Corvette. It's hard enough to keep my C5 given my family dynamic.
I turn 35 this year...and yes it appeals. I have to see the Higher Performance models though. My next sports car is either the 2010 Viper ACR, the 2013 Viper GTS or a Vette that can out perform those cars.
36 - have a C6Z and highly modded C4. I want a C7 stingray... bad. Plan to get the Stingray and trade up to C7Z then trade up to C7ZR. Will keep the C6Z and C4 for heavy track duty.
45. Intrigued by the C7. Quite happy with what I have. Interested in seeing it, seeing how well it rolls out and performs, and seeing what else team vette has in store for it.
35, and I love the C7. I had an 06 coupe and an 07 Z06. They were my first Corvettes and I loved every minute of ownership over the 6yrs I had them. I love every generation of Corvettes, but the C7, to me, looks to finally be where it should be. A modern, super car exterior with a great interior. I will be getting a C7 in the future.
35 and I love the C7 and am anxiously awaiting the C7Z. I will say, I was always most attracted to the C5Z, because I felt the C5Z had a lean proportion that no other did. This new C7 speaks to me though...I'll have it 100%...just waitin for the Z.
About to turn 50. My C6 Vert all of a sudden seems a little dated to me since seeing photos of C7. Can't wait to see C7 up close and in person. Really anxious to see it in convertible form!
