I run a company that builds GTM's in Pa. I wouldn't trade this car for ANY less than a C6Z unless it was C5Z and a descent amount of cash.
I drive an LS2 GTM weekly to work and to shows. Our car has 398whp/425wtq and the thing is a beast. Even at that power level I pull C6Z's on the straights. These GTM's are non stop attention all day long, they are just pretty tight to get in and out of. Interior temps can be pretty bad based on the builders experience. The A/C is a MUST. If anyone purchases or trades for this car, feel free to contact me for assistance, upgrades, etc. We use the GTM as a base, but we've enhanced the car substantially with more interior room, improved balance, improved maintainability, etc. The result of building many of these cars. Plus, we can issue a VIN for these! GLWS! Can't go wrong going with a Corvette though. |

LOL I think im going to post this in the c6 section instead... do you go on the factory five forum boards as well.. if so whats your screen name... and thanks for the info so everyone can really see what this car is capable of... |
Just to add in, if anyone reads Factory Fives outline of what this car is supposed to cost, certainly write that off. They outline 45,000.00 roughly to finish the car, and while that is POSSIBLE, you certainly will have to shop like crazy and your car will be very basic and raw. If you finish the car properly, your looking at 85k plus your labor. C6Z's are pullin 45k bottom dollar and in my book are a MINIMUM trade for this car.
