try going to the dealer with one for trade in. they would have to offer u less than stock as it drastically cuts down on potential buyers. anyone on here have cleaner single color interiors done? not trying to be a jerk, but im suprised that the prevailaing theme is matching the exterior color or carbon/flaming everything out. You are correct. Many dealers will frown on gaudy or pin-ball machine looking interiors. But that is the choice of the owner of the car. If the owner likes it, thats all that matters. It's the owners car. He/she can do whatever they want with it. I think most Vette owners like to have fun with their cars and really don't spend much time worrying about the selling price of the car. They'll worry about that when the time comes. :) Me personally, i like a cleaner quality looking interior. But i do like looking through these posts seeing what other people have done with their cars. |

Here are a couple pics of my VE Carbon-Fiber Leather and Suede interior at different stages. I have recently added some more pieces, but no pics yet.

I do agree that even subtle interior modifications look good as well. Replacing a stock all-black interior with upgraded black leather and perhaps some suede and colored lettering would probably appease the masses a little bit better come trade in time, however as mentioned, I don't think many of these Vette enthuasiasts are concerned. |
Choreo - that is magazine worthy!

WOW - some awesome interiors for sure
Mine only has a few minor mods, but I think it looks GREAT  http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3033/...5678c542_b.jpg |
It is indeed  A friend of mine painted it for me. I bought a hurst knob and sanded it down then hit it with filler primer and he laid the color and air brushed the Superman logo on it for me.

I think it will be when it is finished (but I believe it is like a website - always a work in progress - never really "done"). I do have some new pics to post soon in a more finished state with the matching CF-Leather Glove Compartment Door, etc. It took me a few weeks to come up with the design and materials combination that I finally went with. I was trying to achieve a more "classy" look, but still retain a hint of "sportiness" and I am very happy with the results. This is one of the many design spec drawings I sent to VE to get everything done... http://dev.choreo.com/VetteForum/CustomSeatDesign.jpg The same theme and Madira embroidery thread color was used everywhere. Again, part of the goal was to make everything look like it was something that "could" have come from GM as an optional package. http://dev.choreo.com/VetteForum/HL_05.jpg http://dev.choreo.com/VetteForum/Rea...otector_01.jpg |

I certanly enjoyed looking at all of the fine work done here. Some of the interiors are very tastefull, while some are absolutly stunning. All look great in their own way.
For me, I don't think I am going to change anything on mine. From everything I have found to read I have one of only 15 Mill Yellow with Torch Red interior verts made in 2000. Is it worth more becasue of this, probably not. But it is unique and I would hate to change it. |
