New Custom VE Interior PICS - DIAL UP BEWARE!!!
Sorry for the massive photos, but it is the only way to get some of the detail in the Carbon Fiber Leather.
Some of you may remember a couple posts I made regarding this new interior project the past year where I posted the design sketches and mockups. I have had several forum members contact me regarding the outcome since then. I tried to order this from VetteEssentials over a year ago, but there was a delay in them locating a new Carbon-Fiber leather supplier that would meet their standards. Then I delayed to get the August discount (but missed that window I guess). Then there was an issue getting the Ultra-Suede material. Finally about a year later, this project is finally coming together and I am VERY SATISFIED with the results so far. Still plan to order matching steering wheel, sun visors and shift ****, but I think it is to the point as of last weekend where I can at least post some preliminary pics! All of these photos were taken under studio strobes, under most ambient light the carbon-fiber is a bit blacker, but these strobes bring out some of the detail - especially since these are for online posting.
My goal was to stay close to my all-black theme but create something that was more on the "classy" side vs just the "sporty" look. I did however, retain the Grey Carbon-Fiber Leather perimeter stripes to give it somewhat of a "sports" tie in. Along with the new seat covers and pads, I added in additional Fiber Foam and Foam Rubber for comfort and added durability against the lower springs and it worked perfectly. Not sure these photos do the interior justice, but these are the most expensive "looking" seats "I" have ever seen in a Corvette in real life.
All of the embroidery accents use the exact same color Madira yellow/gold thread as my hoodliner, floor mats, rear cargo mat, rear bumper protector and rear deck lid shades.
I also took this opportunity to complete my Dynamat/Ensolite treatment from the cargo area forward - the rest of the car was done over a year ago. This is now one "quiet" and "comfortable" ride.
Anyway... here are the PICS:

Just posted them on another server - apparently Dallas is under T-Storm attack.

I have other posts regarding the Dynamat/Ensolite sound deadening. In my case I did EVERYTHING - cargo area, wheel wells, inner/outer doors and cabin area together with Michelin A/S ZPs and additional deadening, you can hear someone whisper in their lowest voice clearly.
