Started out as a standard, all-black Z06 interior. Turned it into a half black, half tan, full quality re-do. I didn't want to do anything to make it look "unstock"; I just wanted more quality and less black.

It now features:

-Vette Essentials door pulls and steering wheel;
-Carskinz center console lid, ebrake handle, and shift knob;
-Corvette Motorsports seats and boots;
-Lloyds Mats w/ logo.

Here's the before-and-after:

Yes, it's a little darker in person, however these pictures were taken without flash in reflected daylight. As you say, shooting with flash just lights these things up like Xmas! :eek:

The DSV wheel is beautiful! Are they made a little beefier/thicker grip than the stock wheel? It looks like it, which is great!

If you're talking about my interior, it's a Momo Nero steering wheel. Ditched the airbag to get more options. It's a little thicker than the stock wheel, but much smaller, and the contouring gives a good grip and feel. I may have it wrapped in leather to thicken it up slightly. The stock grip is just faux leather, i.e. vinyl. Still feels nice, and the alcantara sections are a nice touch.

I'm actually getting my door panels, knee pad, glove box, & arm rest covered in tan leather to match my seats. I am also getting my DD center console/bezel covered in black leather by a local interior shop.

I'll post pictures when I get the leather pieces back.

Thanks for the compliments!:cheers: Seats are from APSIS, carpet, dash, door panels is stock, console from DD Mods, center console cushion from Mid-America, red piping from Eckler's, Kicker sound system with Pioneer head unit. All done by myself OVER TIME since new 2003.

First started with stock TR seats, added neoprene mod red seat covers (8yrs), then went to mod red cloth Corbeau A4s(8 months)(red was slightly off and cloth just didn't do it for me but red leather was not an option), and now APSIS. FINALLY HAPPY!:D

C5inphila: how much were the seats? and do the things in the middle irritate your legs? Seems like if you had some relatively large thighs that you would be sitting partially on top those? What are they for?

So - the Carvaggio web site states that the Daytona seats are for model years '05 to present. But they fit in a C5? Easily? No problem?

The seats with the "things in the middle" belong to dnast. I think they are made by Apsis.

I used C6 seats with c5 tracks because I wanted to keep the seat memory working. If you don"t have seat memory the whole C6 seat can be used , either way the seat switch needs to be rewired.

The "hump" does effect comfort or bother your thighs "soft" BUT help keep your legs in place through the turns:thumbs: Yes the seats are APSIS. Checkout link below before they sent them. cheers:

The D-shaped steering wheel is from DSV (Down South Vettes) covered with matching Vette Essentials leather. I also looked at the Apsis steering wheel, however I liked the design of the DSV better because it has the extended grips on the bottom half of the wheel.

Thank you for the comments for my stock interior on my 2001 Coupe.

At first I didn't like the C5 interior because it's kinda bland. But since I have had my C5 for 3 years now, wow 3 years really? I have learned what many of you knew all along. The C5 interior is a masterpiece in waiting. The one interior of all the vettes that you do whatever you want. Leave it stock, do a little, completely change it.

It's amazing what some of you have done.

:iagree:I have seen some awesome interiors in in this thread, I love them all, from Phil's beautifully "stock" to some of the latter totally "improved". This might be one of the most valuable threads to reach back into as needed for inspiration.
