That is the Exoticvette partition with a rear emblem from the dealer. Emblem is attached to the carpet via velcro, so if I need to remove it for any reason, it pops right off.

This is a really good idea. That flapping has always really annoyed me. I did this little DIY project this morning.

The beauty of the partition is that the flap drops behind it therefore eliminating the flapping even without the additional weight.

Try a 1/4" plastic covered cable and push it in the seam. Plastic protects from scratching and is flexible enough and heavy enough to work.

Thanks for the info, the plastic driveway pole/rod looks like a great compromise and seems to do the job.
