i have a L-46 1969 vette. Had the engine bored 60 over no choice. My builder wants to go roller cam and Aluminum heads. 10.1 pistons and a cam made. He wants to use speed master heads which I have never heard of. I did some research on these and they don't sound very good. He would like them bare to build himself cost $1100.00. I though spending that kinda of money should just get AFR, however don't know which ones. He also stated I could do a 383 motor for around the same price he is asking. Everything is stock in my car and power with ac, however that is off right now. Wanted your opinion on which motor you would do and heads. Also car is for fun not driven daily or any racing.
It has the Muncie M22 and 3.55 gears posi. Thank you for help
I am considering swapping my two holleys for the Fast Dual Quad EFI for my tunnel ram on my 64. I have a new stock tank, and hardline 3/8's from tank to the engine bay. What's involved with setting up a return line on this setup as far as how to dump back into the tank? Cut/weld a hardline thru the sending unit/supply line insert? Does any body fab that type of thing up these days? I think that's all that's holding me up - getting a return line into the tank easily. Any idea why the MSD system gets away without a return line? Thanks much, Eddy.

I've got a street rod project we're working on and I'm going to get a Lokar shifter set-up. If you're hooked up with Lokar, I'll get you the part numbers and let you price it.
best price fro a pare of long tube headers for a 79 vett with 4 speed manuel transmission.
I have 1 5/8...... I want a bigger tube. If I can afford it. if not, i will stick with my 1 5/8 headmans.
