'07 C6 wheel/tire combo ?
OK...just bought a 07 C6. I also AutoX and will be in ASP which means any wheel/tire combo. It has been suggested to me to run 17in wheels because of price and better tire selections. I have a friend who has a set of CCW 17x11 and 17x11.5 from his C5 Z06.
The tire of choice would be a Kumho 710, 315 sizes all around.
Is anybody running or tried this combo? If so, did you have any issues with tire rubbing fenders, etc.
Did you have to use wheel spadcers?
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

Here's a good thread http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1638282 on the subject.
Here's another with pictures of my car -- http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1645257 -- with the 17x11s mounted.
They do rub toward full lock on the F on the tierod and the lower control arm -- enough to take the wheel weights off and eat into the control arm. Of course, I also got way crazy in one corner and went full lock trying to save it to no avail which exasperated the problem. I will look into spacers but then that leads to longer wheel studs, etc..
