How to clean clear coat rims

Depending on how dirty they are: Clean them up real good with car wash soap and water. Then seal them with zaino or something that will last.
I like to use Poorboys spray and rinse on wheels that have alot of brake dust built-up. Then the above steps to keep them clean.

I'm looking for the spray type product as I can't even get my hands in around the rims because of the brake calibers. I've heard of some people using some kind of spray followed up with things such as windex to get a shine. I appreciate all the help.

I have both brushes that Zane mentioned above and really like them.
They both have about the same bristle area (9") but the ez detail brush has a longer reach to it (18 1/2" VS 15) and the bristles are wider on the EZ brush (4 1/4 VS 3 1/2) The Megs brush has a fatter handle which feels more secure though. I use both since I have a truck, vette and a motorcycle I use them on.

yes, for a real spray and rinse option, you can use Poorboys Wheel Cleaner.
Before - 3 yr old car, wheels never washed.
AFTER spray and rinse, no touching of the wheel.
I don't always get results that good. To get perfect results, the limiting factor is that you have to use LOTS of the product, with a good sprayer that will really COVER every square millimeter. Taking all that time to spray is actually more difficult than just using a couple of quick sprays, then agitating with an EZ Detail brush. But if there is a spot you really cannot reach, the Poorboys will take it off for you -- follow directions carefully and DO NOT USE ON BARE UNCOATED ALUMINUM WHEELS. It's fine on chrome, painted aluminum, and clearcoated aluminum however - I've used it on all three with no problems.
