Got some closer pics?

Looks like the bottom has a gap, but that might just be the shadows.

This from the guy on ebay?

Yes from eBay seller grilles950.

Actually there is no gap it's just the picture.

I'm sure he will, these are going to sell pretty well.

Here you can see the bottom lip pretty good. Notice the 3 screw mounting points on the inside of lip. Before mounting I didn't think about painting them black but I will correct that asap.

Oh and that's just a bug on the upper right corner. This grille came packaged very nicely without any damage.

Very nice looking. I know GM put that retainer ring in there for a design statement, maybe harkening to the stingray back in the day, but to me it doesn't work well. The Z06 grille is much better. GM ought to put that grille in the 2016 stingray and be done with it.

Yes - details man! I really like the look of the Z06 grill, it was exactly what I had in mind when I was thinking about what the C7 grill *should* look like. How much did it cost you, and how did you install it?

Are these stolen from the parts factory? Looks great but how did they make it to the market so fast?

eBay seller (grilles950) $300 "free shipping"

I installed it myself with the help of this thread. I also added to this thread with pictures.

The eBay seller (grilles950) has a 100% rating and appears only to sell new OEM grilles. My guess is he buys seconds direct from the factory.

Information from back of grille:
Manufacture: SRG Global http://www.srgglobal.com/
Date made 10/2013 - so these have been tooled up for awhile now.

Parts number: PN 22790957

Does the ebay seller have to have the permission from GM or rights to sell the OEM factory parts of cars that have not been released yet?

Maybe it's a marketing ploy? Release two grilles months before the grilles are available from GM suppliers to create a demand. If that's the case the marketing depart surely calculated that the two of us that have these would be posting them all over the internet. Just a theory... sounds better to me than "are these grilles stolen".

I'm doing my marketing part and posting another picture.

This Thread should be in the C7 Discussion forum as it pertains to the Stingray...not the C7 Z06!
