2015 Corvette Z06 Performance Numbers
I believe it will be the fastest Corvette ever...
ZR1 = 11.3 and 0-60 in 3.4 (Chevy numbers).
My guess, if the 625 hp / 635 tq is right
I am thinking 11.1 and 3.0 for the c7 z06... again official chevy numbers. People will run 10.5s stock I am sure
What do you all think?

Just what I wanted to read, another thread with the same subject title
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c7-z...numbers-4.html
I know the excitement is building, (faster than my funds to buy one) however we are only one week away from reading about and seeing the real thing

Scraping the splitter.
If it's got that 8-speed auto in it, with 625 hp, and assuming it isn't 3500#, it'll be very quick and very efficient with a PD blower paired with an automatic.

I'm sure if a guy drops air pressure down to say...18psi or so and does a version of the zip tie mod on the air intake...it'll runs mid 9's easily at say...hmmmm 145mph or so. And thankfully GM has already got with the NHRA and got them approved for that kind of performance with the built in 10pt rollbar. Hahahaha.
It takes not only a boatload of hp, but good air and excellent traction (like a 1.5 short time) to run mid 10's. Not that it can't happen, but it'll take some doing.

And NHRA can run to 9.99 and 135 mph with no bar (5-point) required in a post-'08 "unaltered" and "OEM" vehicles.

A6 C7's have gone 11.4-11.5 at ~120 mph. Assuming the 625 hp is a real number and the car doesn't gain much (if any weight) and the 8-speed auto is offered, I think it should easily trap 130+ and see mid-10's. And it won't need 1.5's to do it, IMO.

I've been outa the loop for awhile on the NHRA. My last vehicle in the 9's was a bbc 67 camaro and it DID have to have the 6 point roll bar and up to date harnesses. Sure wish I hadn't sold it!
As far as the C7 running mid 10's...if its going to REALLY come with 650+hp,, then with the right driver, tires, and track, mid 10's is possible. But folks on here talk like ANY owner will be able to drive it off the showroom and down to their closest 1/4 mile venue, and viola...mid 10's.
If a person has spent much time at that venue, then they know it just ain't that easy. Possible, yes. Everyone doing it? NO!

The C7 is in the 9's with head/cam and nos. I can't wait to see what the Z will do after the aftermarket gets there hands on it. The future looks amazing and these cars will be breath taking fast!!!!!!

With it being supercharged. I wonder if the motor will heat soak much after a hard 20-25 minute track session( 4 total sessions)? I run Laguna seca a lot , and plan on doing a lot of track days with the new z ..
