The Stingray looks great in Velocity Yellow.

OP, thank you for the link to this great story.

My wife and I did the entire length of Route 66 in 2000 in my C5 coupe. With a great guidebook and great people all along the way, it was the best road trip we have had. Took 8 days.

Corvette guys, if you haven't done this trip yet, do it soon. You will be happy you did.

Thanks for posting this. I had not seen it before. I have always wanted to take this trip and am now motivated again since I have a Velocity Yellow Stingray.

Bob, that's a really great story and some anticipation of what we'll be seeing and doing in the Spring when several members from our local Corvette Club 'Classic Glass' will be making the trip to the NCM/Factory, then NW to pick up RT 66 . But we'll continue up the PCH to San Fran and probably back East through Denver. Hopefully we'll have north of 10 cars for the trip. If you have thoughts/ideas of good overnights where we can start looking for lodging (for large groups), please PM me. How many days did your trip to the West Coast take with all of your photo stops? We're thinking we'll be gone in the neighborhood of three weeks but are flexible on that.

If anyone reading this is interested in joining us, PM me.
