Default PFADT Headers:

I finally got around to installing the new PFADT headers on my 08 E Forced M6 coupe yesterday. I got in on the pre-production run of the 05-08 base sets to test for PFADT. I will say the fit & finish on these headers are second to none. I did have to jack the engine up to get the passenger's side header on. This was kinda tricky as the supercharger hit the cowl pretty quick. I jacked it up about an inch & that was as far as I wanted to go so I had to force it in just a bit. It was not a problem though, it went right on in. Once in & together, all I had to do was tighten the bolts & clamps. I didn't have to adjust any pipes or anything. And best of all, NO LEAKS! I would like to thank Blair @ PFADT for the great service.

A local shop here in GA recently became a Pfadt dealer and got a set for a ZR1. Many asked if all the photos of the welds were for "show" only or what production units would actually look like, well....

I'd say they ALL look killer!

Love to see your comments guys! Hopefully we are setting the new standard for what people expect from a header system for a high-end vehicle.

No problem Blair, they are a stellar product. Yes, I am getting it re-tuned along with pulleying down from 3.5" to 3.25" & adding ID850 injectors. That ought to wake her up.

Those are beautiful and I'm really considering a set of them!

BUT how do they sound? I have the Borla Atak axleback setup. Any ideas or sound clips?

This dude has the Atak with Pfadt headers. I have catless Pfadt on mine with a Z06 axleback if you want to listen in person sometime.

They are made in the US and welded by hand. I thought it was a robot weld as well until I called them.

That is insane.... I can weld fairly well, but that is just art.

Yep! Right here in-house at our facility in Salt Lake City!

Check out this thread about the welding:

Default Called Blair

I was at 21st Century Muscle Cars and looking at the numbers on the PDAFT headers on a 2011 GS and was so impressed I decided to wait 6 weeks to get this header set up as it looks like these are worth waiting for! I saw 30+ HP in the lower torque ranges vs the std headers they ran and to me that is significant! The 4 to 2 to 1 vs the 4 to 1 makes a lot of sense if you consider the logic to how they work! Blair hook a brother up - ha
