FS: 2007 Black Z06 Texas/ heads, cam, beautiful car
Well I’ve decided it’s finally time. I’m selling my baby even though I’m hesitant to do so. I’m going to take a short hiatus from the corvette world so I can prepare for a new build next year. This car has been well cared for and has been the perfect street set up between daily cruiser and weekend warrior. I’d like to sell as is without parting anything out or stripping it down since it’s so well put together. I’m asking $40,000.
About the car
2007 Z06 with 47K miles, I’m the 2nd owner. I bought the car in 2009 with 13K miles on it. I drove it stock for almost two years. Then in 2011 at about 32K miles we did the cam and headers. Drove it for another year before doing the heads and the guides actually didn’t look bad. The cam is just barely under a .650 lift so pretty easy on the valve train. We had the heads done in May of 2012, full WCCH stage 2 with all new, stainless tumble polished valves, guides, springs, lifters, pushrods, and comp cam rocker upgrade. I didn’t short anything here because I wanted the heads to be bullet proof. There’s less than 5K miles on the heads and hardware. We also did a .040 angle mill to bump the compression to 12:1 on a 93 octane tune. This thing thumps and the torque is through the roof. It made 550/505 before the heads, then 575/525 after the heads. I also added a wet 100shot of nitrous on top to make 700/730. It has been safely tuned for nitrous; I’ve sprayed it several times without ever throwing a lean code or any other issues. The car is an absolute blast, it’s the perfect street car that can still destroy 99% of everything on the road. I’ve pulled several other cars making 800-850hp, vipers, supra’s, C5Z’s, etc.
Mod’s list:
Exterior
Blacked out tail lights, side markers, reverse lamps, and fog lamps
Blacked out emblems and color matched Z06 badges
Painted black rear diffuser and rear Z06 spoiler
Vinyl wrapped A-pillars in black (looks as good as paint)
Window tint sides and rear
APR carbon fiber front splitter
Vossen 087 wheels (20x12 rear 19x10.5 front). Gloss black lip, satin black center, ZR1 blue color matched pin stripe, jake skull center logo on the center cap.
Powder coated Z06 brake calipers color matched ZR1 blue.
(there are also blue LED lights in the side vents you can turn on at night, looks kinda batmobileish)
Interior
All factory except the ipod PAL system hooked up to the factory NAV unit.
Escort Laser shifters, installed front and rear of the car. It’s hooked up to a Passport 9500ci head unit but I’m taking that with me. The shifters DO work by themselves, and you can plug in any Escort head unit to the smart cord on the rearview mirror.
Engine / Drivetrain
Halltech KBII intake
Ported TB
Ported LS7 intake
American Racing 1 7/8th inch headers and X pipe (with cats)
3inch exhaust all the way out the back
Muffler mod with mild to wild switch (you can’t even hear the cam with it off, great when cruising)
Black mamba cam (will release specs to buyer)
WCCH stage 2 heads with ALL new hardware
Nitrous Outlet NANO wet plate system (100shot) purge comes out the front scoop.
Katech LS9R clutch, flywheel and slave cylinder
MISC
I just put on new pads and rotors. I painted the rotor hats black to match everything.
I just had new plugs, wires, and O2 sensors installed and retuned to make sure everything is running properly. ALL the work has been done at Quality Motorsports. Nobody else has touched the car.
Here’s a feature write up that was done on the car from an auto blog. http://www.aforwardmotion.com/thomas...-z06-corvette/
Here are some recent pictures (the 427 was a temporary sticker, it’s off the car now)

what were your results from TI?
Willing to sell the car minus the wheels? Have stock wheels?
Can you show a copy of the dyno sheet?
pics of the interior, engine, nano kit?

I dont have the stock rims anymore. I suppose i could sell the car minus the wheels but you would need to swap out your own. I didn't want to mess with parting it out.
TI results were good, lots of high HP cars out there. I got beat by nineball's 1000hp viper by about 3 lengths and lost to Danny's leathal ZR1 by about a car and a half. ever other car i beat had more power than me, anywhere from 50-120.
Here's a few video's

I'm not in a huge rush to sell it. The racing bug has really gotten to me and I've spent too much time taking care of this thing to start over on it. If I dont get what I want for it I'll keep it a while longer. It's been good to me. I built this thing as a street car you can take to the track. Now I want to build a track car I can take on the street. So the next one will be similar but with much more bite. (i want to go 8's...) I'm still going to the next TI regardless!
