2008 Jetstream Blue Z06 550rwhp, 7000 miles, FOR SALE $52,000
2008 Jetstream Blue Z06 1LZ (purchased on 5/08)
7000 miles
Flawless interior/exterior (not one scratch, really)
-Interior Mods-
- Factory titanium colored bolsters on seats.
- Battery tender installed in the rear battery area for winter storage that plugs in by license plate.
- Stock floor mats
- All LED interior lighting (floor, rearview mirror, trunk, etc)
- 35% window tinting on side windows
- 5% window tinting on rear window
-Exterior Mods-

- Jetstream blue car cover included
- Racemesh grills (standard, non polished) installed in front bumper and Z06 nose scoop
- 3M ventureshield covering on front bumper (actual thumbprint flaw in certain lighting from install, can be removed if wanted) hasn’t bothered me. 3M ventureshield in front of rear tires by GM tag on both sides as well.
- Carbon fiber “corvette” insert on rear bumper
- Taillight seals
- Chrome 505hp license plate frame
-Engine Mods-
- K&N CAI w/K&N filter
- Nick Williams 102mm TB
- FAST 102mm Intake
- LG 1-7/8” Superpro Longtube headers w/cats
- Mild2Wild switch
- MSD plug wires, factory plugs
- Quality Motorsports “Black Widow” cam
- Patriot valvesprings, upgraded retainers
- Dyno tuned by Speed Inc. in Illinois (all motor work done here as well)
- Dynoed 550rwhp & 510rwtq on 93 octane in summer weather
-Misc. Stuff-
- Car is a summer car only, not driven in rain. Car is always covered when not in use. Zaino Brothers polish used on the exterior and I also use their products on the interior surfaces. Car has never been to the drag strip. It is a weekday/weekend cruiser in the summer. I really baby the vehicle and take it for spirited runs now and then. I don’t think I’ve even let a person eat/drink something in it. Car has a mildly aggressive cam in it, it will surge some below 1400rpms in higher gears. It runs very smooth on the highway in 6th gear at 70-75. The car is a monster. For those of you who have driven cammed cars with these characteristics you know what I mean.
KBB/Blackbook is around $48,000 for one in EXCELLENT condition. Yes this car is in EXCELLENT condition. I haven’t added up what I’ve put into it, but I’m asking $52,000.
I have a pictures and a dyno sheet, but always have trouble on the forum with posting photos. If someone wants to take an e-mail and post them for me that would be great.
For those who are seriously interested. PM ME
Thanks,
Brian

Upload the pics to Photobucket or Flickr. Copy the IMG link directly into your post. Once you post, the photos will appear. Admin needs to sticky instructions for photos at the top of every forum, IMHO.

It is easy and only requires 4 clicks on the mouse to post each picture. Get yourself a free Photobucket account, post your pictures to that account, copy the direct link for the image by placing the cursor over the image and moving it down to the direct link box and copy the link by clicking on the box. Then go to the image button on the forum input box click on it and paste the link into the box that appears. It is easier to do if you have two windows open, one window for the forum and the other for Photobucket then all you do is switch between them. Here are a couple of screen captures I made several years ago.

Many of us must know if it is emissions compliant with the cam or else we cannot register it.
Do you know. It must pass a tailpipe sniff test in Toronto and other places.

I am not 100% sure if the cam will be emissions compliant with a sniff test. It has catalytic converters, but the cam is on the larger side. I sent a PM to Carlos @ QM, if he doesn't respond tomorrow I'll call them direct.

From talking with Carlos it seems like they have had a few QM black widows pass emissions. He stated the chances are better with a hotter burning plug like the stock TR55. That is the plug that is currently in this car.
