Does the Ranger method for cleaning up the clutch fluid apply to the ZR1 too. Is it the same fluid that I used on my 07 Z06?

Did mine last weekend for the 1st time at 1,500 miles. Very black at the start, but cleaned up pretty quick.

I believe others here have stated that Prestone DOT 4 can be used...

ordered my GM fluid from the internet. Could not find one GM dealer here that had it in stock.

I used the Ranger Method successfully many times and then came upon this thread http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-c...er-method.html. I am now using this modified method with great results. I do think that it purges more of the contaminated fluid and does it faster. The Prestone dot 4 is available at my local Walmart store.
