Proud Owner of a new to me Z06 :D
*I accidentally made a similar post in the C5Z Section, but wanted to say hey to the right section!*
Friday August 19th I went and picked up a 2007 Atomic Orange Metallic Z06 with about 17,600 miles from Dallas (I live in Spring). Had it looked at by a dealership before buying it, and they gave it a good bill of health.
The deal with my wife was I had to sell my WS6 and GSXR600 before getting the car. So far I don't regret the decision.
I'm very excited to finally have one, as I've wanted a C6 of some sort since '05 when they came out.
The car as far as I know only has a Corsa catback, the dealer said it was only the mufflers, so at some point will have to get this verified.
Look forwarding to learning more about the car through this forum, and meeting/discussing the car with everyone.
I turn 29 this Friday (26th) so it was a big birthday present to myself!
I'll be posting several questions about some noises I hear (mechanical and interior) and some DIY questions. The FAQ has already answered some questions and brought up more. lol

I've used that name for YEARS! LOL No one usually forgets the name.
Hoping to get it detailed this weekend for pics. Hopefully have some pics of the WS6, our digital camera recently went missing. So in the process of obtaining another one.

Sounds like the exact same deal I made my wife... Sell the 01 C5 and the Road King and get the same car you have... 2007 Atomic Orange with 17,600 miles on it.

Congrats. Just got my first C6 Z at 27. I too have wanted a C6 since 05. Glad I skipped the base coupe and went for the Z06 though. These cars are simply amazing for the prices you can get them at now.

No SS I didn't. I'm knew to this forum. Mostly was always on LS1Tech since I had 3 F-Bodies.

Yep, your not to far from me at all then Evil.
I'm pretty familiar with Humble, my best friend lives over off 1960 and Woodland Hills.
Any local gatherings? I've seen some vette gatherings at the starbucks in front of the kroger on spring cypress (don't recall the cross street atm) but across is a mcds, lennys, and what not.
