Well I am starting to look for vettes in my area but have run into a problem. Originally I wanted a z06 but found out I don't quite fit at 6'5 260. The problem is not the width but the head room. My head just grazes the top of the headliner. So I decided to check out the reg c6 with the transparent top. I fit in that car perfectly. My understanding is the transparent top gives you like 2 inches extra head room. Am I able to get another 2 or 3 inches out of the z06 by lowering the seat.

Any links or ideas would be appreciated.

you could do a Gurney Bubble, but .....it increases Drag, disrupts Aero Dynamics and adds weight.


Or modify your skull...side benefit is weight reduction

This is about as low as you will want to go!

Just be carefull with the skull Mod, ...not easily put back to stock, and at some point you reach diminishing returns on investment.



But always remember that stock is just a starting point

I'm 6'6" 250lbs and I fit the C6Z without my head rubbing the headliner....something I could not say in my C5. Couple of problems I have encountered are I find the HUD can't be seen without scrunching down a bit and I must literelly 'unfold' in and out of the car.....not as easy as it used to be when I was younger
