Default Rock chip

I noticed today I have a rock chip on each rear brake duct. I have the touchup paint from GM. But not sure on the how too. What is the correct way to apply it?
Anyone else have this problem? I just ordered the clear plastic kit Friday to avoid this in the furture.

Thanks for you help.

Exactly I have a clear bra on my car but only from the front bumper up to the half part of the hood. Only having the car for about a month with a near perfect paint job I went on a vette run well my vette took the blunt of the rock chips including my roof! My windsheild & hood that weren't covered are rittled with chips plus the brake ducts!!! Oh well the only thing I could do was scream "ouch" as every rock hit the car!!!

Have 3M clear protector applied to the lower quarters, mine was starting to do it and I had the 3M stuff applied and it stopped. It cost me around $150.00. The front tires I have no problems at all so didnt do them. Just the rear duct area and right below them on the rockers.

clean the chipped area. apply small amount of touch up paint. do not fill chip completely. repeat for several days until the chip is just a tad over full. then buff with compound, wax, polish. it's a slow process but works.

Buy the APSIS front wheel well protectors. The chips come from the front wheels.

We just got in a new shipment and now we have in stock.

It's not we don't want to keep inventory. It's because we can't make quick enough to meet the demand so we work on allocation system, first come first serve.

Order it now and we can ship tomorrow.

Yes, once you add our Z06 Front Splash Guard to your car, your problem is solved. It's been approved by many many Z06 owners.

I use the GM touch up paint along with the Lanka paint chip repair kit, it works great. Just follow the directions that come with the kit and you will be very pleased. You can get the kit on Lanka.com.

What is the present price on the "front" splash guards for my 2007 Z06?
If the price is doable, I need to find out how long to get them in my possession.
Thanks, John coach85@aol.com

Get the APSIS front mud flaps. Mine work great and haven't had a rock chip since. I don't care to wrap my car in plastic wrap.
